Update from Christine - April 5

Despite not eating much before getting to school, Rosalinda said his day was fine and he was just as happy to try all the snack as he usually is. Outside, Holland spent a lot of time working on riding the tricycle. Although his feet continue to slip off the peddles, he is really trying to move himself more with the peddles, not just by pushing his feet along the ground (with guidance from the teachers). Inside, they had some new scissors they offered to the children. They are simple and don't have loops to get your fingers in them. They just have to squeeze them to make them cut. Holland concentrated hard on that task and stayed with it for a long time. He had a few papers with a lot of cuts on it to bring home. He continued to be interested in the lock box and playing with the little people and the play kitchen area. They had some water with heavy things and light things to introduce the concept of floating and Holland enjoyed that activity as well. His shirt got wet, so they sent it home. I assume they'll need a new shirt for his stock of extra clothes. We went to the bathroom after I picked him up, and although his pull-up was wet, he made some pee.
