Recap from Ms. Christine of Holland’s activity at Lab School --
He did some parallel play with Lela scooping leaves at the beginning of the day and also with Thomas later, playing next to each other with like-materials. They did "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" for their song today and he did some drawing with chalk. He didn't play too long with the sensory table today (it was oobleck - cornstarch and water, so it might have been a weird sensation for him) and didn't ask for books today, but she did mention that today she saw Holland push his feet to go forward in the car for the first time. This matches with my observation of his growing coordination of movement and problem solving skills that I had noticed yesterday. There were some animals on top of blocks that he went over to, looked at, and simply knocked down instead of playing with, and Natalie said since it was at the end of the day, he was probably also just feeling tired since Cindy said he woke up early this morning.
